Does having an attitude of gratitude really work?
Many people around the globe have experienced big positive changes in their lives after they have started practicing the attitude of gratitude on daily basis, because this has shifted their perception of things in life and has allowed them to energetically open up to the new possibilities and experiences that are more in alignment with their heart’s desires.
It is said that it is not happiness that brings us gratitude. It is gratitude that brings us happiness.
There are many ways how to practice gratitude. One of the most effective and popular ones is to keep a gratitude journal. It is very powerful when we write things down and really feel them. The magic is in the emotion! Writing things down, without feeling them will not be as nearly as powerful than when we add our emotion to it. Most people write down 3-5 things they are grateful for daily. The trick is to not repeat the same things, but always find something new. After a while, you will realise how amazing your life actually is.
As the late Dr. Wayne Dyer said: ‘If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.’
Practicing gratitude has also been found to reduce stress and anxiety and help us find positive solutions.
We can be also grateful for the things that we do not have (yet) in our life, but we wish to manifest them. To the Universe, everything is vibration. There is no time and space in the Universe, like it is on this planet.
By practicing our gratitude for the things we truly wish to create in our life, we must feel and believe in our heart, mind and soul that we deserve them. That we are worthy. Any fear or doubt will only block our creative process.
So, in short, the magic of effective and powerful attitude of gratitude is:
- Feel it in your heart, mind and soul.
- Be consistent.
- Do it daily.
If you wish to make it even more powerful, write down & feel in your heart 3-5 things you are grateful for every morning, and then every evening write down & feel 3-5 things that have happened to you that day, that you are grateful for.
We can also use crystals and oils to assist us with keeping our attitude of gratitude strong and consistent.
By being grounded and having our heart chakra open and the solar plexus balanced, can certainly work well for us.
Some of the crystals that may help are: Citrine, Tiger Eye, Onyx, Rhodonite, Rose Quartz and Aventurine.
For those who love to work with essential oils, you might love to use: Base Chakra, Solar Chakra and Heart Chakra essential oil blends.
