What are you grateful for this year?

Time is speeding up and the end of this year is very close.

As the beginning of 2016 approaches, we start thinking about the “new year resolutions” and various promises to ourselves, all with the hope that the following year will be better for us. But how come things aren’t so easy and we tend not to stick with these resolutions and promises, and then fall back into the same patterns and routines?

Well, one thing is for sure: we are human creatures who love being in the comfort zone. This means any change in our life represents some kind of a disturbance to us (on a conscious or subconscious level), so we tend to resist it, sabotage it, find all possible excuses to avoid it, unless our circumstances really push us to do it.

Instead of making all these new resolutions for the 2016, why not first have a really good look at your 2015 and see all the amazing things you have achieved and experienced! See how much more you understand things, how much you have grown as a person (emotionally, mentally and spiritually)! Look at the events in the past year(s) and recognise the teachings and the patterns underneath your experiences. Write down all the things you are grateful for and then you will get a clearer picture of how you would like your life to be in the next year.

If you feel you need a bit of help with setting up the new vibes for the 2016, then connect with Moonstone, as it is one of the best stones to use when working on our new chapters, new beginnings in our life. It is also a good idea to give your home and yourself a good smudge with a white sage smudge stick or Palo Santo. This will clear out the old and stale energy, and create a space for the new one.

Don’t forget to listen to your heart, your instincts and your higher self. They are your tools and guidance to your happiness.

We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year, filled with peace, love and joy!

Namaste.
