Orders are usually dispatched from our warehouse in Western Australia within 3-7 business days, however, orders may take longer to dispatch during busy periods.

Due to the impact of COVID on delivery networks, customers may experience longer than usual delivery time frames.  Unfortunately, this is beyond our control.

 

Flat rate shipping for all orders within Australia.

Orders over $75 AUS, receive free shipping within Australia.

We offer tracked shipping to NZ, USA, Canada, South Africa and UK. We can also ship to other countries. Please contact us for international postage fees and/or to confirm shipping is available to your country. Once shipped delivery usually takes 2-6 weeks but may take up to 8 weeks. CUSTOMS/IMPORT TAXES are the sole responsibility of customers.

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.

The Blue Budha reserves the right to inspect or seek inspection from an independent authorised service, to determine whether an item was faulty at the time of purchase.

If an item is accessed as being faulty, you will be provided with the remedy options available to you.

you may choose a refund or exchange if an item has an agreed major problem. This is when the item:

• has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it at the time of purchase

• is unsafe at the time of purchase

• is significantly different from the sample or description

• doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you may choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value (if applicable)

If the problem is not major, we may repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.

Warranty claims, refunds, exchanges can only be processed with proof of purchase.  You should keep your proof of purchase— e.g. your receipt. (Australian Consumer Law)

We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about the services or goods you asked for.

But you may choose to cancel your contract, and receive a refund for unconsumed services or unused goods if the service or item has a major problem. This is when the service or goods:

• has a problem that would have stopped someone from purchasing the service or goods if they had known about it at the time of purchase

• is substantially unfit for its common purpose, and can’t be easily fixed within a reasonable time

• does not meet the specific purpose you asked for and cannot be easily rectified within a reasonable time

• creates an unsafe situation at the time of purchase

If you choose to continue with the contract, you may ask us to compensate you for any difference in the value of the services or goods we provided and what you paid.

If the problem is not major, we will fix it within a reasonable time. Note that reasonable timeframes vary depending on the item and the issue.  If the problem cannot be fixed, we view it as a major problem.

An order can only be changed up to the point it is dispatched. We pride ourselves in dispatching orders promptly, you must contact us immediately by email on [email protected] before dispatch. You will receive an email advising you that your order has been dispatched. After that point, you will need to accept delivery and then return the order to us in accordance with or Returns Policy above.

The price of a product shall be as stated on this The Blue Budha website (Website) at the time you place your order except in the case of obvious error. We try and ensure that all prices on our Website are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we will inform you of the correct price to you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel no payment will be taken from your card, if a payment has already been processed through merchant services such as PayPal or Afterpay, we will arrange the reversal of the amount for that item.

Prices shown are inclusive of AUS$ GST. Prices do not include other taxes, which may be applied in your jurisdiction.

Prices are subject to change without notice but changes will not affect orders which we have already accepted unless an error or omission has occurred, to which we reserve the right to cancel an order.

Payment for all items can be paid using AfterPay or Paypal. We do not accept payment over the phone.

From time to time we issue discount codes/coupons. We have a coupon code box situated at the “Checkout” where codes can be entered. You must take care when entering codes, as they are case and space sensitive.

You may only redeem one code at a time so we advise you to choose the promotion best suited to your purchase. Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in the delivery of goods that is caused by events outside our reasonable control which includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following:

– Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action.

– Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war.

– Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or another natural disaster.

– Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.

– Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks.

– The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive the confirmation email with the tracking number (if appliable).

Orders are generally delivered via the Australia Post network, we will select the most appropriate and quickest delivery method to your location.

If you are not in when your order is delivered the courier will leave a calling card with all the details, or you can opt at the checkout for your order to be left at the door.

Some goods can be delivered to a Post Office Box if you provide a PO Box address and we can not deliver, we will contact you to obtain an alternate delivery address.

Once dispatched, orders are usually delivered within 3 – 14 days depending on your location. Deliveries to remote areas might take up to 21 days, once dispatched. Unfortunately, we have no control over delivery once an order is dispatched from our warehouse.

Please note, due to the impact of COVID on delivery networks within Australia, the delivery may be delayed by the delivery service provider ie Australia Post or any other service we may choose to utilise.  Unfortunately, this is beyond our control.

Product Warranty

The Blue Budha offers exclusive warranties on our Fine Jewellery products

Important Information Concerning Your Rights as a Consumer

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are entitled to have the goods repaired if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Standard Guarantee

  • The Blue Budha offers an automatic Standard Guarantee of twelve months from the date of purchase on all jewellery against defects in material and/or workmanship.  The Standard twelve-month Guarantee excludes all watches earring backs, earring hoops and hooks etc and giftwares  Such items are covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee or warranty. The Standard Guarantee covers jewellery purchased in-store or via the website.
  • The costs of any repairs and maintenance carried out during the Warranty periods that are not the result of defects in material and/or workmanship must be covered by the customer.
  • Any defects in material and/or workmanship that become evident during the Standard Guarantee validity period will be remedied by The Blue Budha.  The form of remedy will be at the sole option of The Blue Budha and will be limited to repair, replacement or refund.
  • In order to claim a remedy under the Standard Guarantee, the goods must be returned for assessment and accompanied by the original purchase receipt.
  • The Standard Guarantee does not include the following to the extent they are permitted in the relevant legislation;

I. Damage due to ordinary wear and tear;

II. Damage due to misuse, accident, alteration, substitution or abuse;

III. Repairs and alterations performed by someone other than The Blue Budha;

IV.Theft, disappearance or loss (including loss of gemstones), and;

V.Any type of use causing damage or deterioration.

  • The Blue Budha reserves the right to determine whether the jewellery has been subject to any of the above-mentioned exclusions.
  • White gold and some silver jewellery are rhodium plated to enhance its appearance.  This rhodium plating can wear off during normal wear and tear.  Accordingly, any rhodium plating is excluded from the Standard Guarantee and Extended Warranty.
  • When jewellery is repaired under guarantee or warranty, only the remaining term of the original Standard Guarantee will continue to apply.  When jewellery is replaced under guarantee, the new item of jewellery will automatically come with a new Standard Guarantee of twelve months from the date of replacement.
